EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code (a/k/a the Texas Open Meetings Act), the commissioners may meet in executive session at any time to receive advice from the City Attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the Commission under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, including the following: A. Training related to power, duties and responsibilities of P&Z members B. Any posted agenda item
SUP 15-33 7324 Baker Blvd. – Consider making a recommendation to the City Council to consider a specific use permit to permit operation of a contracting business (MCL Contracting) with outside storage. The property, zoned Light Commercial (L-C), is located at 7324 Baker Blvd.
Consider making a recommendation to the City Council to amend the City’s Zoning Ordinance by amending Section 4.02 to allow for larger carports in non-residential districts; adding carport regulations for multiple family districts; amending Section 8 by amending the definition of “Carport”; amending Section 4.02 and Section 6.13 to create a special exception to allow the Zoning Board of Adjustment to approve a larger carport under certain circumstances.
