Discussion regarding potential amendments to the City’s Zoning Ordinance by amending Section 4.02 to allow for larger carports in non-residential districts; adding carport regulations for multiple family districts; amending Section 8 by amending the definition of “Carport”; amending Section 4.02 and Section 6.13 to create a special exception to allow the Zoning Board of Adjustment to approve a larger carport under certain circumstances. 5. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code (a/k/a the Texas Open Meetings Act), the commissioners may meet in executive session at any time to receive advice from the City Attorney on any posted agenda item or on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the Commission under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act. 6.
